West Ham United captain Mark Noble has claimed the current Hammers squad is the best he has played with during his time at the club.

The Hammers are currently placed fifth in the league table, just a point behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

The 28-year-old, who joined the club when he was 13, told the club's official website: "For sure it is the best team.

"You can see by the players we have got and the players we are bringing off the substitutes bench that we have got a great squad.

"We showed that once again in the Chelsea game with Andy Carroll coming off the bench and getting on the scoresheet. (Emmanuel) Emenike also came on and did great for us."
