Claudio Ranieri has revealed that captain Wes Morgan is fit for Leicester City's Premier League opener this weekend but N'Golo Kante and Yohan Benalouane could miss out.
Leicester kick off their Premier League campaign on Saturday with a clash against Sunderland at the King Power Stadium and ahead of the game, manager Ranieri has given an update regarding the trio of Morgan as well as new signings Kante and Benalouane.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury, Ranieri said: "We are fit. Wes is available and I will choose the line-up the night before the match. When everything is calm, I take all my thoughts and then I decide.
"I don't know now (whether Kante or Benalouane will be in his selection plans). I have watched them in just three training sessions. It is too early to say yes or no.
"Kante is a fantastic tackler. He is the first in the top five divisions in Europe. For recovering balls, he is the second. That is Kante. Benalouane is a strong, tall and very impressive defender.
"I saw Leicester last season, they changed system too many times. I needed a player who can play with either three or four at the back. With him I can do that without changing players."
