Speaking after the game the 25 year old said the north London outfit is the perfect club for him to join at this stage of his career.
"I'm feeling great. I knew England was a great league and I saw that in my very first match," the France international told L'Equipe.
"There is a lot of intensity. My team-mates helped me a lot to feel at ease. Moreover we started with a win, which is perfect.
"I needed to go abroad and I have been lucky to join the best league in the world. England, with the atmosphere and fans very close to the pitch, is what any footballer dreams of.
"I get that at Tottenham, which is the perfect club to reach a new level in my career."
