England coach Fabio Capello may call in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after the Under-21s' game against Iceland tonight.
Capello thought carefully about including Oxlade-Chamberlain, 18, in his 25-man squad for the friendlies against Spain and Sweden, but decided to let him remain with the U21s.
Capello, though, remains eager to get a close-up look at the right-winger and may now offer him a promotion ahead of Tuesday night's clash with Sweden, says the Daily Express.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has made four appearances for Arsenal since signing in a £12million deal from Southampton in the summer and has scored in the Carling Cup and the Champions League.
