Arsenal winger Theo Walcott upset England coach Fabio Capello when he attempted to play in pink boots!

Walcott attempted to wear the boots for the friendly against Egypt.

The News of the World says Capello couldn't believe what Theo wanted to play in and raged: "Mamma mia! Take-a them off pronto!"

A source said: "He went mad. The fact they were pink seemed to wind Fabio up. He couldn't believe an England player would want to wear pink boots on international duty."

After the dressing room rollicking, Theo, who has a Nike ads deal, had to change his boots... for a white pair with pink flashes.

The source added: "Fabio's a traditionalist. Pink was too much for him and he let Theo have it with both barrels."
