With skipper Rio Ferdinand ruled out by the calf injury, Joleon Lescott, Michael Dawson and Gary Cahill will battle it out to partner John Terry in central defence for the friendly against Denmark. Frank Lampard's first appearance since August means 19-year-old Jack Wilshere will be handed the midfield holding role, whilst Darren Bent will partner Wayne Rooney up front.
