AC Milan and Juventus are preparing offers for Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill.
The Daily Mail says AC Milan and Juventus are weighing up a shock bid for Cahill after reportedly quizzing Fabio Capello on the merits of the Bolton Wanderers defender.
The Italian giants are both said to have turned to their former manager for a scouting report following Capello's decision to include Cahill in his England squad in June.
The 23-year-old has blossomed at Bolton since signing from Aston Villa in January last year and has caught the attention of a number of Barclays Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
But Wanderers saw off suitors by placing a £20million price-tag on the Yorkshireman's head and may have to do the same again if two of Serie A's most glamorous clubs come calling during the winter transfer window.
