England boss Fabio Capello is delighted to see Wayne Rooney succeeding as striker for Manchester United.
Capello has backed those hailing Rooney as one of the best in the world and explained his part in encouraging the United star to be more selfish.
Capello added: "I hope he will be the same in June and not tired because he is in a really fantastic moment. I told him: 'Rooney, if you want to score goals, you have to go in front of the goal'.
"He worked a lot, he ran a lot, he helped everyone in every moment - he is really generous on the pitch. For that reason, he couldn't score a lot of goals."
