England boss Fabio Capello wants LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham as part of his 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign.
An England insider told The Sun: "David is still one of the best crossers and dead-ball experts in the world.
"He has not lost that by playing in the States and it can be an important weapon."
