Fabio Capello is in the running for Martin Jol's job at Tottenham.

The News of the World says Jol's position as Spurs boss will be untenable should they lose to bitter rivals Arsenal in Saturday's north London derby.

And Capello, out of work after losing his post at Real Madrid at the end of last season, is part of a three-man shortlist which also includes Marcello Lippi and Sevilla boss Juande Ramos.

There is real excitement among the Tottenham hierarchy that they have been able to attract the interest of three of the very best.
