England boss Fabio Capello has rated the 5-1 demolition of Croatia as his best since he took charge. The Italian tactician has led the English to next year's World Cup with a close to faultless display in the qualifying stages but believes Wednesday night's win was the best he has seen so far.

"We played quick, moved the ball and moved when we did not have the ball.

"The first 20 minutes were fantastic and we were very compact.

"The performance tonight was very important and we did everything which we tried in training.

"Now we can talk about South Africa."

Capello added that it was the 'best performance' of his reign.
