Tottenham striker Darren Bent is set to be called up to the England squad.

The Mirror says Fabio Capello is considering an England call-up for Bent - after delivering another snub to Michael Owen.

The England manager was not impressed after watching striker Owen as his Newcastle side crashed at Fulham on Sunday.

And Capello is set to check on 11-goal Bent in Spurs' Carling Cup tie with Liverpool tomorrow night.
