England boss Fabio Capello insists Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch is in his plans - despite leaving him out of his squad for this week's friendly against the Czech Republic.

Capello said: "I'm happy for Crouch because now he can play more games. It's very important for him because it's better.

"If a player plays only one game a month it's not enough. You lose the confidence. This is very important for everything."
