Capello planning to call up Arsenal starlet Oxlade-Chamberlain

England coach Fabio Capello intends to hand Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain an international debut against Holland.

The Mirror says Arsenal starlet Oxlade-Chamberlain, 18, is being lined up for a place in the squad to face Holland on February 29.

That, in turn, has opened the door for a call-up for the European Championships.

Under-fire England boss Fabio Capello sought out Oxlade-Chamberlain after his impressive performance against Manchester United last month to personally congratulate him.

He has also discussed Oxlade-Chamberlain’s Euro prospects with members of his coaching staff.
