Cole will escape an England reprimand from Capello over his late-night arrest for swearing at police.
Capello said: "I think Ashley Cole has apologised for not respecting the police. I don't need to speak to him specifically.
"People make mistakes but the most important thing is that Ashley apologised and, as far as I am concerned, it is finished. I know a lot of players from Milan and Rome go to discos and clubs after they have played - it is normal.
"Even Paolo Maldini, who is a role model, used to get in some trouble when he was younger. Now he is married and he's too old!
"Always, though, you have to respect people and the police."
