Capello may hand England captaincy back to Chelsea skipper Terry

Chelsea skipper John Terry is in line to be handed back the England captaincy.

The Sun says England boss Fabio Capello is believed to be considering re-instating the Chelsea skipper as the Three Lions leader for the Euro 2012 qualifier in Wales on March 26.

Terry was stripped of the captaincy over his alleged affair with Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend before the World Cup.

Capello vowed that Terry would not captain England again while he was manager. But the Italian has apparently had a change of heart.

With current skipper Rio Ferdinand likely to miss out through injury and deputy Steven Gerrard definitely sidelined after a groin operation, the options are limited.
