England midfielder Frank Lampard believes the national team is in good hands.
The Chelsea star says England boss Fabio Capello is definitely the man to lead the nation to World Cup glory, mainly due to the massive turnaround he has overseen since the Three Lions did not qualify for Euro 2008.
"We've come very long way under the manager. Our confidence was rock bottom from not qualifying," Lampard said.
"For England not to qualify for a major tournament, I know It's happened quite a few times over the years, but it is a low point.
"We're a top nation with top players and we should be qualifying. We were on the floor almost.
"Credit to the manager and to all the players as well, and we turned it around and qualified in style.
"And again now it's time to get the extra 10 per cent and go to the World Cup and have a right go at it."
