Tottenham are being linked with Fabio Capello as Harry Redknapp's successor.

The Sunday Mirror says Tottenham boss Redknapp is widely tipped to succeed the Italian when Capello stands down as England boss after Euro 2012.

And Capello's impeccable record as a club manager will inevitably spark interest within the White Hart Lane ­boardroom.

The Italian coach has won ­titles with every club that has employed him.

Capello, 65, has insisted he will consider retirement next summer after standing down from the England job.

But there is still widespread interest in Capello from clubs around the world.
