Capello leaving door open to Man Utd midfielder Hargreaves
Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has the chance of making an amazing late run for England's World Cup squad.
The Mirror says England coach Fabio Capello has also left the door open for Hargreaves as the United midfielder prepares to make his comeback for the reserves against Manchester City on Thursday.
Ferguson left Hargreaves, 29, out of his Champions League squad because he was so pessimistic about his chances of recovering following surgery on both knees.
But Capello will take him to South Africa - even though he has not played since September 2008 - if he can prove his fitness between now and when he names his provisional squad on May 16.
The England manager remembers that Hargreaves was the star performer for the Three Lions in Germany and will give him every chance of making this summer's finals.

He is a class player who would always make my team. The England midfield is limited with Gerrard and Lampard. Owen can easily dislodge either one of them as they are not in his class. Lets hope Owen leaves all the injuries behind him and and an injury free career ahead of him.

If he is fit and playing over the next 2 months, England will be left with little choice but to take him to the world cup, as he is a class act.
