England coach Fabio Capello is keeping an eye on new Blackburn Rovers signing Scott Dann.
Dann believes he can push for international honours.
"Obviously it's an ambition of mine to play for England and hopefully now I can do that in the future," said Dann, who has already gained two caps at Under-21 level.
"And hopefully coming to a club like Blackburn can help me do that.
"I haven't played much football lately because of all the things that have been going on and all the speculation but I'm more determined than ever to play football.
"I don't think I've ever been more determined. I'm just looking forward to it and I can't wait to get going."
