After masterminding England's qualification for the World Cup in midweek, coach Fabio Capello hopes to meet his home country Italy in the World Cup final. "Now that we have reached the qualification I hope the final will be Italy-England," he said to The People. "I won't be sentimental, because now I'm working for England and that's the most important thing.
"I certainly won't sing the English anthem, although it's always emotional to listen to. Let's say that if my prophecy comes true, I will be twice as emotional when the national anthems are played."
On the possibility of coaching the Italian national team one day, the coach said: "I've always dreamed of being here, guiding the English national team, I'd always ask myself why they were unable to do well even though they had all right conditions. But the Italian national team has never been an ambition for me."
