England boss Fabio Capello has reportedly been critical of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has spoken in the past of his admiration for Gerrard who has found himself compromised after an alleged altercation at a nightclub.

Gerrard has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray in connection with the incident.

"Let's hope he [Montolivo] doesn't want to imitate Gerrard in every way, especially with regards to recent behaviour," England manager Capello is quoted as saying on firenzeviola.it.
