England boss Fabio Capello was coy over whether Tottenham striker Peter Crouch had won him over with his two goals against Belarus last night.

Yet manager Capello still refused to sing Crouch's praises and made it clear he remains unconvinced.

He said: "I know Crouch very well and I know the other players very well. He is just one part of the squad.

"I know Crouch's numbers. He scores a lot of goals. But I don't like to speak about one single player. I always like to speak about the team.

"I have a style I want to play in certain games and I know the players who will be on the pitch."
