Capello confident Man Utd defender Brown available for World Cup selection

England boss Fabio Capello is confident Manchester United defender Wes Brown will be fit for World Cup selection.

The Daily Mail says Capello is convinced Brown will be available despite confirmation the United defender has broken a bone in his left foot.

Tests yesterday confirmed news that Brown suffered the injury in Saturday's win at Wolves. But Capello believes Brown will be fit inside three months, meaning he can be named as back-up to Glen Johnson at right back.
