England boss Fabio Capello has form concerns over Chelsea pair John Terry and Frank Lampard.
The Mirror says the Italian was at Stamford Bridge to see Chelsea's Champions League campaign ended by Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan and left harbouring genuine worries over the form and shape of two of his automatic first-choice players.
Capello is understood to have been surprised that Lampard, under-par in the friendly with Egypt at the start of the month, was easily put in the shade by Inter's midfielders Esteban Cambiasso, Thiago Motta and Dutch schemer Wesley Sneijder.
Terry, too, was exposed by the movement of Goran Pandev and Diego Milito and not even in the frame when Samuel Eto'o scorched through to end Chelsea's European campaign.
Capello will be urgently monitoring the form of both players over the next two months in the hope they can get back to their best in South Africa.
