Former AS Roma coach Fabio Capello has hit out at ultras over their row with president James Pallotta.
Fans are unhappy with Pallotta for criticising them for mocking the mother of Ciro Esposito.
"This should be a point of no return for everyone," Capello told Radio Sportiva.
"In the past, few had the courage to speak up, and I was one of them. The worst thing that happened to me is when we lost to Atalanta and had to go and face the Roma Ultras.
"I was against it, but the President ordered us to and I obeyed. I was very far away because I agreed reluctantly and [captain Francesco] Totti went over to talk.
"I don't understand why we have to be tried before a 'court' made up of people with criminal records.
"It's not about Roma, it happens everywhere, but I don't see why one should have to put up with it.
"I'm sorry that this kind of thing happens all the time and serious decisions are not taken."
