England boss Fabio Capello will overlook Tottenham defender Ledley King when he names his squad tonight.
The Mail on Sunday says King will be left out of the England squad named this evening for the World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Andorra - unless there are injuries during this afternoon's final round of Premier League matches.
Capello has struck a deal with Spurs whereby King will only be called up today if he is really needed. That means Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, Matthew Upson and Joleon Lescott will have their selections confirmed for the centre-back places if they come through the final league matches unscathed.
