Manchester United have signed a licensing deal with US hat manufacturer New Era, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The global deal will run until at least 2020 and will see New Era design an initial 2015/16 range of Manchester United caps in in 'five core headwear silhouettes' for release across October.
The company is best known as the long-time official manufacturer of Major League Baseball's on-field caps.

"As New Era continues to expand its international reach, growing our business in world football was a natural progression. A partnership with such a globally revered club is a great opportunity for us to bring quality headwear to the football market."
