Real Madrid chief Predrag Mijatovic had his scouts posted in Italy over the weekend.

On Saturday, Real were present for Lazio's defeat at home to Inter Milan in Rome, then yesterday they were at the San Paulo.

Mijatovic is tracking Lazio striker Mauro Zarate and also Napoli pair Ezequiel Lavezzi and Fabian Santacroce.

Real defender Fabio Cannavaro has tipped off Mijatovic about the Napoli duo.
