Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro admits he wants to finish his career in Italy.

From Real's Austria training camp, Cannavaro said: "I'm happy in Madrid and will not move. I've read plenty of stories in the press about my transfer, but it won't happen.

"I have signed a three-year contract and am now entering year two of that.

"I can't exclude playing beyond that. I'm an Italian player and it would be nice to close my career at a club of great level and great prestige. Napoli are among such clubs."
