Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro hopes former Real Madrid teammate Mahamadou Diarra can join him in Turin.

Diarra is interesting Juve as they seek a ball-winner to cover the arrival of playmaker Diego from Werder Bremen.

Cannavaro said: "Diarra is a good friend. But the market is not decided by me. I'll leave that to the professionals."
