Claudio Canigga is backing Estudiantes midfielder Joaquin Correa for success with Sampdoria.
It's understood Samp have agreed terms with Estudiantes over a January deal for Correa, seeing off competition from Manchester City and Benfica in the process.
Former Argentina star Caniggia, who now works as an agent and is close to Correa, told TMW: "Joaquin Correa from Estudiantes to Sampdoria? He's very good, really, and its a good move for all.
"He will learn a lot about himself there. He is still young, he will need time to prove his qualities.
"It's a little like what has happened with Paulo Dybala (with Palermo)."
