Canada ace De Rosario considering MLS future

Dwayne De Rosario admits he is pondering the next phase of his extensive career.

The 35-year old Canada international was recently waived by DC United after two-and-a-half seasons in Washington and could be on the move to another league in 2014.

But the former San Jose Earthquakes, Houston Dynamo and Toronto FC ace was also keeping the door ajar to continue his playing days in the league he has played in since 2001.

"I've had an unbelievable experience playing in that league and a great time there, and if it's time to move on from there, so be it," De Rosario told MLSsoccer.com.

"If not, then I definitely look forward to another year, two, three in Major League Soccer."

And regarding his recent disappointment at being released by DC, De Rosario indicated that he still had some good soccer ahead of him despite his aging years.

"I have a lot of people that doubt what I do," he added. "Doubt me [based] on my age, doubt my ability. But I continue to use that fuel to my advantage."
