West Ham United were thrashed last night by Newcastle United after Avram Grant FORGOT to pack his lucky scarf!
After all the hype in the lead up to the game over the Hammers neckwear, manager Grant did not take it with him to the Northeast last night.
The Hammers were duly thrashed 5-0.
Asked about the absence of his lucky scarf, Grant said: "I forgot to bring it but that wasn't why we lost."
