Alessandro Rosina's move to Zenit St Petersburg has been questioned.

The former Torino winger is moving to Russia in a lucrative deal, but his former Verona coach, Massimo Ficcadenti, doubts he can cope.

"He is gifted but perhaps not prepared mentally to do well," noted Ficcadenti.

"Alessandro is going to Russia and the switch will be beneficial financially but technically it won't be the same as Serie A.

"Over there they are spending lots of money to reinforce the League but it is still way behind the major European competitions.

"Furthermore, it is a physical championship and Rosina seems to suffer in that respect. Anyway, I hope he does well and finally finds the peace of mind he needs."
