Can: Liverpool made "big step" for top four

After leading his side to victory with possibly the goal of the season, Liverpool midfielder Emre Can believes the Reds win over Watford helped them further their chances of making the top four.

Liverpool's 1-0 triumph at Vicarage Road on Monday sees them go to third on the Premier League table, four points in front of Manchester City, with the Citizens having a game in hand.

"It was a very, very big step," he told liverpoolfc.com. "I think if we perform in the last three games how we can perform then we will win games and we will play in the Champions League.

"Our target is to play in the Champions League because with the quality of players that we have here and with a club like Liverpool, your target has to be to play in the Champions League. We will give our best.
