DJ Campbell admits his Mum convinced him about signing for QPR.
The striker spent his formative years with QPR and, even though he left aged 16, his mother believed he would one day return as a professional.
"My mum always said to me that I'd be back here one day," Campbell told the club's official website.
"I used to sit up in the stands. They were great times - I loved coming down here to watch QPR."
Campbell, who cost the Rs a reported £1.25million, added: "I'd really brushed off the chance of ever coming back here to be honest, but maybe it was meant to be.
"I remember back in the day watching Les (Ferdinand) and others, heroes of mine, and now I'm back here playing for the club I love.
"It feels like a dream to be honest."
