Returning Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell says he does not fear a recurrence of the injury that kept him out for the past 16 months.

The 24-year old came off the bench to score in the 1-1 FA Cup fourth round draw with Middlesbrough yesterday, marking his first game back since August 2010.

Campbell was delighted to get through unscathed and says he holds no fears about seriously injuring his knee for a third time as he is confident the Black Cats medical team have done everything to help him back.

"You can't let that creep into your mind or it'll affect your performance," he told BBC Newcastle.

"I didn't have the fear before I did it, so I've got to get back to that.

"You feel like you're ready to go, but we've got a great medical staff and a great coaching staff here," he continued.

"They don't want to rush me back, especially with the team doing so well. It's frustrating for me, but I know everybody's looking out for me."
