Sol Campbell has no regrets leaving Tottenham for Arsenal.
Many Spurs fans have never forgiven Campbell for the move across north London but he claims he only moved to compete with better players.
"I moved and a lot of people were upset, I understand that now," Campbell, who has confirmed his retirement, told talkSPORT. "But when you look at the team that Arsenal had, it was an unbelievable team.
"It was fantastic to play with those players, Arsenal were arguably the best football team in the world at the time. It was enhanced when I went there it and it was the perfect opportunity.
"In a lot of people's eyes it wasn't the best move for them but for me, and playing wise, it was the best move."
