Fraizer Campbell was delighted to score his first goal for Sunderland in their Cup win over Birmingham City.
The striker told safc.com: "Obviously it's good to get off the mark with a goal but the most important thing is the team reacted well to the Burnley game and played some good stuff.
"My goal was all about the cross from Andy. He put it on a plate for me; all I had to do was hit the target and it went in.
"For a lot of strikers the first goal usually starts the ball rolling so now I've got one hopefully I am off and running."
He added: "The second half against Burnley put us under a lot of pressure to win here and we've come out and done the job. It's a nice boost ahead of the Wolves game."
