QPR striker DJ Campbell was delighted to be back in action for the club on the weekend.
The former Blackpool ace came off the bench for the final half-hour of Saturday's 1-0 loss at Liverpool after six games on the sidelines with a foot injury and he was over the moon to be back in action although he knows he needs a lot match fitness before he is at his best.
"Obviously I need a bit of time to get my sharpness back because that was my first game in two-and-a-half months, but I enjoyed it.""I only got back to full training four days before the game so it was great to be involved," Campbell told QPR's official website.
As for soon making a start, Campbell is unsure of what manager Neil Warnock's plans are.
"I was a bit surprised to get 30 minutes at Liverpool if I'm honest.
"I'll just continue to train hard and try to get match fit. If the gaffer calls on me, then he calls on me. If he needs me, I am there for him.""I don't know about the starting line-up," he added.
