Dimitar Berbatov looks certain to be a Manchester United player by Monday's transfer deadline - with Old Trafford youngster Fraizer Campbell moving to Tottenham as the makeweight in a £30million deal, claims the News of the World.

Sport Of The World understands the deal was brokered when United chief executive David Gill met Spurs officials in Monaco last week after the Champions League and UEFA Cup draws.

If all goes to plan Berbatov will be clear to make his United debut against Liverpool at Anfield on September 13.
