Fraizer Campbell is chasing a new contract at Sunderland.

The Daily Mail says Campbell, 24, hopes his impressive form for Sunderland after his 16-month lay-off from injury will earn him a new contract.

He returned following two cruciate knee-ligament injuries by scoring in his first two games back.

He will have one year left on his contract in the summer.
