Sol Campbell says Portsmouth goalkeeper David James can play for as long as he wants.

"David can go on as long as he wants because he's an athlete," said the centreback.

"The modern-day footballer looks after himself now. Dino Zoff won the World Cup at 40. The Italians have always looked after their bodies and it's seeped over here where more players are prolonging careers. And not only that, they are keeping their standards up as well.

"David's comfortable here, he's happy. People respect him and how he's got back into the England side."
