Cameroon striker Bassogog: I dream of Arsenal move

Cameroon international Christian Bassogog has professed his love for Arsenal.

The striker won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with Cameroon and was named the player of the tournament, earning him a move from Aalborg to Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye.

However, the 23-year-old has revealed he hopes to fulfil his dream of playing in the Premier League and has elected Arsenal as his club of choice.

"Yes, it's still a dream for me to come back to Europe," Bassogog said exclusively to Goal.

"I would like to play in the biggest league in the world, in the Premier League. My favourite club since I was very small is Arsenal. I like playing with the ball and this club suits me. When I was a child, Thierry Henry was a model for me. It's someone who impressed me a lot."
