Norwich City captain Cameron McGeehan was thrilled to lead them to FA Youth Cup glory against former club Chelsea last night.
While every member of Neil Adams' squad may have dreamed about last night's glory, McGeehan's was probably most vivid given he grew up a Blues fan and cost them £50,000 as a 10-year-old when he signed from Fulham - before being released four years later and heading to Norwich.
"It is just unbelievable," the City skipper told the Pink 'Un. "It was about the whole team ethic today, but on a personal note I just can't put it into words how happy I am.
"I used to sit behind that goal, I was a ball boy every Premier League game. Every Champions League game I was here. But now I'm at a different level in my career now and I'd just love to play as well as I can for Norwich.
"And this is an amazing achievement to take the cup back to Carrow Road."
