Cameron Knowles named Portland Timbers assistant coach

Portland Timbers have named Cameron Knowles as an assistant coach.

Knowles was a defender on the Timbers USL teams from 2007 through the 2010 season.

He joins Amos Magee and Mike Toshack as the assistants to head coach John Spencer.
