Cameron assures Stoke fans: More to come from me

Geoff Cameron says there's more to come from him after starring on Stoke City debut in their 0-0 draw with Arsenal.

Cameron was barely off the plane after completing his move from Houston Dynamo before facing the Gunners.

"Personally, I was pleased with the performance," he told Stoke's website. "Obviously, the more I play with the guys, the better our understanding will be. So, hopefully today was the first step, and now we can hopefully build upon that and continue to get better collectively.

"I'm just so happy to be here now as a Stoke City player. It's been a long road to get here with the visa issues and biometrics tests etc, but thankfully all of that got cleared up."

He added: "It's a big move for me to come across from the States, but I am ready for this challenge. It is going to be tough, but I am ready to show that I am capable of playing at this level. It's an exciting challenge and one that really excites me."
