Released AS Monaco midfield schemer Camel Meriem has welcomed talk of a move to Bolton Wanderers.

Meriem concedes he would be open to such a switch, although he is not getting too hopeful after being connected with Bolton for some time.

He told skysports.com: "I have been linked with a move there before and other places in England but it never happened so let's wait and see.

"To play in the English league would be very good."
