Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri is putting Esteban Cambiasso on trial for the final weeks of the season.
Sky Italia says the 34 year-old will be offered new terms if he impressed in the remaining days of the campaign.
The Argentine midfielder is off contract next month and would like to remain in Milan.
